Patients Taking Benzodiazepines Should Avoid Such Combinations. Cimetidine (Tagamet), Ketoconazole (Nizoral), Omeprazole (Prilosec, Rapinex), Fluvoxamine (Luvox), And Fluoxetine (Prozac) May Prolong The Effects Of Diazepam By Inhibiting Liver Enzymes That Break Down Diazepam.
