Terbinafine 250 mg Terbiderm Forte 10 Tabs (1 * 10) 1 Stripes

 is an antifungal medicine. It is used to treat certain kinds of fungal or yeast infections.

Fungal  infections of the skin, hair and nails caused by dermatophytes such as,

- Trichophyton (e.g. T. Rubrum, T. Mentagrophytes, T. Verrucosum, T. Tonsurans, T. Violaceum)

- Microsporum canis

- Epide-miophyton  Floccosum

- Oral  Terbiderm  is  indicated  in  the treatment of ringworm (tinea corporis, tinea cruris,  tinea  pedis  and  tinea  capitis)

- Yeast  infections  of  the  skin caused by the genus Candida (e.g. Candida  albicans)  where  oral  therapy  is  considered appropriate owing to the site, severity or extent of the infection.  

- Onychomycosis  (fungal  infection  of  the  nail)  caused by  dermatophyte  fungi 

Note:  In contrast to topical Terbiderm, oral Terbiderm is not effective in pityriasis versicolor.
